Fortleis Alm - SAN MARTINO IN PASSIRIA

After a wonderful walk, with spectacular mountain scenery we arrived in this typical mountain hut. The lady is very welcoming and sunny, the quality is the presentation of the dishes is crazy not to mention the goodness of the desserts. I look forward to returning.

Splendid mountain hut, which can be reached in about 1 hour's walk ... at times a little bit tiring, especially if you go with a stroller! . Beautiful panorama overlooking the valley and the eyelash of the surrounding mountains. Cuisine with some defects, given the higher ambitions than those of a simple refuge: good but not exalting the canederli in the version to the cheese and the nettles, in my opinion a little too “compact”; the goat cheese, however excellent, was accompanied by a salad mixed with the excessive and prevaricant dressing. To signal the delicious artisanal juices personally I tried that of melissa, really reviving! .

Beautiful malga at about 1500 mt slm. The interior is small and unfortunately when we arrived it was all full. There are also tables abroad. Recommended booking. Good food, generous portions. Average prices.
