Blue Bottle Coffee - San Mateo

It is Blue Bottle. The food is pretty good but expensive. Vegetarian options: Most of the s tu ff is vegetarian. Parking: There is usually plenty of street parking.

I got two Americanos from them this morning. It was boiling hot. I could barely hold it for a minute even though they triple cupped it (they dont have trays or sleeves). If you have to triple cup it, it means its not the proper temperature to serve. It took forever to cool down and the lid got soft and started melting. This is not safe.

A clean cafe in a quaint business park. There's many staff here who make each drink with care. I got the Iced Saffron Vanilla Latte! Good quality coffee. It was rich and creamy; not too sweet. The saffron is subtle and a lot of the flavor comes from the vanilla. I also recommend the Matcha Mochi Blondie! Pretty tasty.

I went by there the other morning and they were closed. No sign. Nothing. Totally random. Not sure what was happening but I simply don't have time to waste. I'll hit up B street instead.
