What a great place to eat! The place is very cozy and the service is excellent. As new for the kitchen, we were very well guided through the menu. The crowd is A LOT and it is good spicy food! We ordered the roasted tofu and that was the most succulent tofu I ever tasted. We also ordered the fish hot pot, which was also amazing. The fish was cooked for perfection and the broth is tastefully definitively come back here!
The Taiwanese cuisine at this restaurant is delicious, especially during busy Saturday dinner hours. I tried their popular dishes, the Taiwanese beef Noodle Soup and Pork Chop Rice. The Fried Pork Chop was meaty and not overly fried, with a great taste. The rice came with chopped pork and a hard boiled tea, creating a delicious combination with good proportions of sauce, meat, and rice. The Noodle Soup was flavorful, although it was a bit overwhelming compared to the Pork Rice. Overall, the dishes had a more authentic Taiwanese style than other Beef Noodle Soups I have tried.
This restaurant is a hidden gem on El Camino! The cozy atmosphere makes you forget about the busy road outside. They offer a unique selection of Asian dishes that you won't find at your typical Chinese restaurant. We loved the pork chop over rice and the eggplant and tofu stir fry. We're excited to come back and try the hot pots, a popular dish in Taiwan.
Authentic Taiwanese cuisine, which is pretty hard to come by in mid-peninsula. Their pig feel taste like ones you can find in Taiwan. Their pork cutlet rice is excellent. They often have specials written on the chalkboard, so make sure you check out what they have to offer before ordering off the menu. Good friendly service.
