Downtown Tiki Lounge - San Mateo

Normally I would have posted a pic but food looked so good I couldn't stop. Service is typically good. The bill was decent for the quality. Food and atmosphere reminds me of Atlanta.

The food and service were above our expectations. We really loved the environment of this place. Amazing place to take the family out for dinner.

Great spot to hang out with friends. Cocktails and Tiki bowls were great. Bartenders were friendly and pour great drinks. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

The staff was nice, though they got slammed pretty hard with just one person behind the bar. Drinks were strong and tasty. The decor was a little haphazard, and it looks like we're not going to see anything from the kitchen, which is a shame. Still, not a bad place to get a fruity drink and hang out.

It's really difficult to figure out when they are open, as my friend and I attempted to visit two previous times before finally getting in. The two tickets to paradise drink is on the sweet side, if you're into that kind of cocktail. Cool ambience with the tiki theme and island music.
