Liuyishou Hotpot (san Mateo)

There was a brief wait for her wallet, but this isn't your typical all-you-can-eat hot pot; they focus on a la carte options instead. The quality of the food is truly impressive. A word of caution about the hottest chili spices—they're not for the faint of heart! Only try them if you're prepared for the heat, which is quite intense, even for avid hot sauce enthusiasts.

This restaurant offers a truly authentic Sichuan-style hot pot experience! The ingredients are fresh, the broths are clean and flavorful, without any artificial taste. We even got to participate in a Lunar New Year game where we spun a wheel and won a delicious shrimp paste that was exceptional. The assortment of vegetables, bamboo mushrooms, and thinly sliced meat were all delightful as well.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fruits; the strawberries and oranges were incredibly sweet and delicious. The hotpot was also excellent, particularly the spicy butter. The meat was tender and fresh.

This was our second visit to the last two weeks. we came here with our 2-year-old, the personal was friendly and delivered child dishes for the little ones. mix and combine good selection of sauces for them, the appetizers were different every time we visited. the broth was tasty and ingredients were fresh. we are coming back to the final.

Overall, this is a top-notch hot pot restaurant!
