I left San Mateo many years ago but still really enjoy coming back here the food is still great and run by some really nice people. Proud to say I have been going there for a half a century.Food: 5/5
My wife and I unexpectedly came across the patio and decided to stop in for a light breakfast. The people were open, talkative, and very friendly. It seemed to be a place where the people in the neighborhood go to eat. My wife and I left very happy with our experience. We will be going back for sure.Food: 5/5
Ordered an El Camino Real omelette, and it was quite good and the portions were very generous. The fruits that came as a side (watermelon and cantaloupe were quite small however. The coffee was excellent, including the fun white raspberry flavor!Service was very friendly and the food came out very quickly. There was a good amount of seating both indoors and outdoors, and the outdoors seating area (the famed Patio is a lovely brunch spot on a nice day : overall would recommend.
Best breakfast around the area we love it there and go anytime we can on a Saturday or Sunday for breakfast just the two of us or with the family too!Great food!
Came in the establishment when they opened. Waitress was friendly and saw the cook in the kitchen. The waitress took my order which was the French toast two sausage and two eggs. Requested over easy. Food came quickly and looked ok. My initial visual was the eggs which looked runny. Sure enough they were. I rate the overall experience as average. Hope the owner takes a moment to review this as I wanted to rate them higher being my first time here.
