Sky Lounge - San Mateo

I had a fantastic experience with this Indian restaurant, which for some reason is mistakenly categorized as a burger joint! Initially, I was a bit skeptical when I came across the listing; the name and category gave it an airport bar vibe. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The menu is authentic, and I've ordered from here multiple times, always feeling satisfied with my meal.

The Indian food here is absolutely delicious and offered at great prices. I'm not quite sure about the restaurant's name, the cover image, or why it falls under the "burgers" category, but I've ordered from here multiple times and it has consistently delivered good, classic Indian dishes.

The restaurant was lacking authentic Indian flavors to some degree. Overall, it was just average for me.

Skylounge is the same as clay oven which I dont like. Had I known that I would not have ordered. Food was below average average.

We arrived at the Sky Lounge after a bumpy Uber ride, only to discover that they were closed due to what appeared to be an extravagant office Christmas party. However, they were incredibly gracious and allowed our group to come in for drinks while we gathered our things and searched for another place to go. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for excellent hospitality, great service, and an even better experience!
