Velo City Pizza - San Mateo

This restaurant serves amazing pizza, possibly one of the best in the area. The chef makes his own cheese, and it truly makes a difference in the taste. The food is consistently good and always delicious. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Artichoke pizza with the red sauce.

Velo City offers the best homemade pizza I have ever tasted. The restaurant is family-owned and uses top-quality ingredients. They make their cheese, dough, and sauce by hand daily. The owners are very friendly and the restaurant is clean and fresh. You will not find a better pizza anywhere else. The gluten-free option is also exceptional.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! When they are on top of their game, their food is outstanding. Their pizza is incredibly delicious, but my personal favorite is their calzone with house-made ricotta. I love it with anchovies, spinach, and mushrooms.
