Yuzu Sushi Grill - San Mateo

Even though this is a small restaurant. The greatest part about this place their food. The sushi is amazly good, and the service is wonderful. If you're looking for really good quality sushi, this place is worth checking out.Food: 5/5

This small and cozy Japanese sushi restaurant feels very authentic and the service is nice and friendly. I want to give this place 3.5 stars but will round down instead. The food was fine but did not really stand out enough for me to come back again. I came with my wife for lunch and we luckily got one of the few tables since there are not many tables here. We ordered a few rolls and sushi but was still hungry afterwards so we got some cannolis across the street to help fill us up. The meal was a bit pricey at $130 after tax and tip for the amount and quality of food. Sorry but we will probably not be back.

Awesome Japanese operated family restaurant. Ishiyaki Hitsumamushi (Stone Bowl Seafood Rice) is a must try. Fish is fresh from Japan, Omakase 100% legit, 18 years and going. Support local!

Limited selection for vegetarians but partner really enjoyed the rice beef plate. Service was fantastic and everything came out quickly I'd come back again

Just discovered this authentically Japanese sushi restaurant. This tiny place had the best sushi I've had in a long time in this area. The menu offers both Japanese and American style rolls and a good selection of fish.
