Cafe La Palma - San Miguel de Allende

We were thrilled to try the Cafe La Palma. The antipasto salad was very good. The vegan mozzarella balls were great in it. The Ricotta Toast was okay. We would like to see a savory option for the Ricotta toast, maybe one with olives and another with sun-dried tomatoes? The Banh mi Sandwich and Rübenburger were both good, but need a kick more taste to be great. The vanilla and chocolate ice cream were really great. Both had stain on flavors. The chocolate cake was also very good and not dry at all.

We have read an evaluation about a vegan cheese plate with chutney and marmelade and we were very excited to give this. the personal didn't seem to understand that we wanted a cheese plate, because it wasn't on the menu, but finally it seemed to have understood. at the end we didn't really get a cheese plate, but a sharing plate with 4 different hummus varieties, an salate and beet with a kind of cheese including fresh brot. it was still very tasty and cheap considering that we were only 180 pesos paid and extremely full. it would be good if they added a cheese plate to their menu as we heard good layers of it.
