Short menu with good options (tostadas, ceviche, tacos). we ordered a ceviche and a taco (fish,) both very good choices.
We had eaten a couple of times here at lunch last year. the ceviche was very fresh and very good, pleasant enough service, but never customers. the same in this year, no customers, plus the ceviche was very pissed, at all not pleasant. there were six employees. members all standing around. Perhaps the loud bubble music makes people. it was just loud when we arrived, but they did it up! we wanted to shoot them down and they did, but it was too loud. the best of all the experience was the beer. sitting in an empty restaurant with boring staff, pounding music and barely edible eating. well, they can imagine.
My husband and I popped in for an early dinner before our friend's welcome dinner at MX restaurant. We ordered the Mexican ceviche, a mezcal, and a michelada, and were blown away by the quality and taste of the ceviche.
The seafood is very fresh, nicely prepared and presented. Enthusiastic young staff. Excellent location, pleasant décor, moderate prices....so why isn't it busier??? Ceviche is so many other places is more expensive, smaller portions and not nearly as fresh tasting. We had lunch here twice and...both times, we were the only customers. Nice touches like a beer glass taken out of the fridge so was chilled along with the beer, chips and salsa to nibble on, a basket of every hot sauce imaginable. Closes early so fine for a casual early dinner.Try it!
