Luna de Queso - San Miguel de Allende

We happened to find this store and it fit us both with their cheese and items where we couldn't find anywhere else.

We were a group of 5. Very attentive and friendly service. The food was excellent all around. We enjoyed the lunch combo.. . It was a nice value. We will return…

I wanted this place to be good but it has been mediocre. I will give it one more try and if it is another poor experice I will not go back. The deli in town, went in for a coffee and dessert w my book...to be told they were not making coffee at the moment. So...ohkayy, I left. Odd. I tried the bigger restaurant and store closer to the La Comer and was happy to see a very nicely stocked store. Not so happy to see the ridiculously expensive marked up prices. So fine, I grabbed one thing and was approached by a young woman who had never spoken to me and was told to give the till her number (on a paper she handed to me), I can only assume this is their way of saying they helped you. No one helped me, she certainly did not. So anyway, I went to the restaurant, again, trying to get a dessert and coffee. I don 't know if I had bad luck, and I speak fluent Spanish and I feel like I was nothing but a problem for the rude wait staff. I waited nearly 10 minutes for a menu, and then I ordered an expresso coffee and apple pie dessert. I was given a drip coffee and no milk that I had asked for. I was given a cold piece of pie and was not even offered for it to be warmed or to add ice cream, which is an option. I was not given *any napkins and when I asked the waitress for one she just looked at me with an annoyed look, walked away and never came back. I had to get up, walk to the main counter, and get my own napkin. There were tons of wait staff, none of which were interested in giving service. They were chattingin groups and did not seem interested in being there. So. I hope I just hit it on an off day. Or two I guess. Menu looks good so I will give it One more go. But manager Please. Train your staff to be more attentive, or attentive at all, and to do the job they were hired for. At your prices, I expect more. 2 trips, not a single smile or real offer of service. It 's clear a lot of work goes into the place and the food, but this was a fail.

Es ULTRA tardado...se tardaron una hora en traernos toda la comida, a todos los que llegaron después de nosotros les sirvieron antes. Está bueno pero no vale la pena la espera. Los smoothies si son lo máximo.
