This is where fine dining meets reasonable pricing. It's our favorite restaurant in San Miguel for that very reason. You cannot go wrong here. My favorite Tostada is the Peruvian Ceviche and my wife loves the octopus. The pizzetas are great. The short rib and sirloin based tostadadas are also wonderful. Go there for sure. Excelente lugar con deliciosas tostadas, todo muy auténtico. ¡Muy recomendado!
Perfect end to our sojourn in San Miguel. Miguel and his team made us feel like family—drinks and food were top notch. For those familiar with New York, Tostévere feels like a spot straight out of the West Village with a twist. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Do NOT GO. Horrid experience here being abused by a psychotic manager in Feb 2023 after I had been going there for 2-3 years, spent a ton of money. He was filled with rage, anger and abuse. I think the guy perhaps was from Argentina I’m not really sure what was going on, but it was a complete nightmare, I ended up in tears, bc he was so abusive. I cannot believe that the owner would hire this person to abuse the clients. Now the owner Antonio Aranda contacted me, bc of this bad review I left, he completely wasted my time going back-and-forth in messages. I don’t even know what he wanted with me. To try to get me to remove the review probably never even offered me to return to the restaurant to have a better experience.then told me he needed to “get the other side of the story from his employee”, the horrible guy that is super angry and abusive. This restaurant only has maybe six tables so it’s always packed because it’s super tiny. There are many fantastic restaurants in San Miguel many owned by friends of mine. Eventually people will get sick of wasting their money on this one and move on. The owner antonio seems to be extremely arrogant is convinced that his current success will last forever. His second restaurant was overpriced and terrible (no flavor/bad wines) when I went there 6 months ago as well. Unfortunately, he doesn’t understand anything about service and the nature of this business. Maybe he should go live in New York for a while and try to run his restaurant there and see how quickly it shuts down. Ps he pays his employees must nothing. Do not waste your time money. Service: 1
