La Perlita - San Miguel de Cozumel

We asked our glockenmann where we could get the best ceviche and he had the taxi that brings us to la perlita. we were 9 times in cozumel and have never found this absolute gem! the mixed kevich is to die and the very freshest seafood everywhere. we actually ate here 2 nights in order and plan to go back at least 2 times! we are just a week here! victor our server and victor the chef are both incredible. the entire staff and the property are very gracious. the little margaritas are sensational. they're packing a blow! that is really what people should experience in cozumel and not the homogenized all inclusive menus in hotels.

Wrote this review 5 months ago;! but wanted to update today! came back today, and it was even better than the first time. we wanted to fish again and our server, victor recommended a very good looking big fish they had. we took his advice and got him. it was in 20 minutes at the table fried and ready. it was absolutely fantastic. I swear to God, the best I had in cozumel. so much fish boiled to absolute perfection. his service was also so excellent! very attentive, friendly and easy enough talk! we had the huge fish with sides as well as a little whip it was just $40! unreal. when we were there, the fisherman came back with the beginning of the day and sold himself to the restaurant! They bought the fish they had. Honestly, it won't be much fresher than that! this is the place for seafood! come here if they are any great seafood! came here on a lunch tour. I don't like fish, but this place was excellent and this fish was my favorite dish that I had in all cozumel! 10/10 coming!

We dined here twice on our current visit to Cozumel. The food, the drinks, the service were all outstanding! We were taken care of like family. This will be a spot that we visit every time we return to Cozumel. The fish is fresh and very well prepared, the lobster was flavorful and tender, and the sides were delicious. Highly recommended!

Came here based on the recommendation from a local. And I had the best grilled fish I’ve ever had.

The grilled grouper and key lime pie were delicious!
