A&w - San Pablo

I typically hesitate to post about fast food since it's not usually regarded as "real" food, but I have to say that this W/KFC in Richmond, at the corner of San Pablo and Atlas, really impressed me. I tried the Papa Burger meal, and from the first bite, it was a cut above most places of this kind. The beef was piping hot—almost too hot for my mouth—which made the cold veggies a pleasant surprise. I appreciate that everything tasted fresh and was loaded with toppings, though I usually only add ketchup or BBQ sauce to my burger. The fries, in my opinion, aren't as good as McDonald's, but if I had to choose a meal, I would definitely pick this burger over many others. Great job—thanks not only for being quick but also for delivering delicious food!

I'm quite disappointed with my recent experience. My family and I arrived to dine, only to find that your lobby was closed. It doesn’t make sense for a restaurant to turn away customers who want to spend their money. We won’t be returning.

I absolutely adore this place! Who can resist a root beer float? Pappa's burgers are fantastic. They even have KFC, which is a classic and reminds me of my childhood. It's a perfect spot for a meal!

This isn't a real A&W. The other A&W operators should complain. This one give the other restaurants a bad name and reputation. This location doesn't grill the burgers which is a key element of what makes a A&W a A&W. Hard pass on this KFC fake A&W.

I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this fine place. I am glad to say that we passed a phenomenal evening and the place was indeed the reason for this strong celebration. The stuff cooperated in a splendid manner, the cuisine was yummy and my buddies were so happy. We shall definitely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
