Gallego - San Pedro del Pinatar

Went with family who were visiting. Sat outside a temperature perfect. Very good service. Menu is extensive and something for everyone. Between us we had fish, chops, shoulder of lamb and pork loins. All fresh and good portions. Deserts and wine. Excellent. Do visit

I had eaten at Gallego many years ago while staying in San Pedro del Pinatar and returned to it again and was so happy to see that it was as busy as ever. This restaurant is a touch of class and the waiters are excellent at their job, they are friendly and try their best to explain the Spanish menu if you are not sure what you would like, personally we could eat anything on the Menu del dia as it catered to everyone's taste, fish, stews, paellas etc . The quantity of food is enormous on the menu del dia and comes with a bottle of wine and dessert making it just the most excellent value for money anywhere! We arrived on a Sunday, Mothers Day and without a reservation and even in the packed out restaurant we were given a table and served the most delicious Lobster Paella ever. They are very efficient at everything they do and always busy, a visit to San Pedro would not be complete without a visit here for the menu del dia or later in the evening for the regular menu and you will not be dissapointed! Excellent food!

You really have to try the daily set menu at lunchtime. (Menu del dia) For 12 euro you will be fed and watered for a week. All home cooked and typically Spanish, amazing dishes, lots of choice, too many to list. Very popular with the locals….sort of says it all. Even gave us massive bin liners to wear home when caught out on our bikes in a storm, thanks Gallego you are genius!

Este emblemático lugar de churros y chocolate. Ya es una tradición en mi familia la primera en desayunar allí y mientras escuchamos los cohetes estamos calculando donde viene la virgen de los carmenes. Este año ha tenido que estar sin el descenso de la virgen, pero nuestro desayuno no nos lo quita. Y encima, toqué la parte central de la rueda, que me encanta desde que era niño. Muy rico

Lugar muy agradable, tapas y menú que busca trabajar. buen servicio en particular paco controla el comedor y tiene sinviosis con la clientela sólo la granja está a su nivel, seguramente repetiremos y repetiremos.
