The quality of the food is a step above everywhere else in the area, always fresh and a good selection even for vegetarians and pescatarians-usually even something vegan. It's sparkling clean and the service is friendly. It's a bit quiet this time of year apart from late Friday and Saturday, and Sunday lunch, but don't let that stop you. Very good value for money.
Buffet style with helpful attentive friendly staff. Great value for money and a wide choice of food. Very clean lovely atmosphere.
You have to come to this place to believe the range of excellent food on offer. It's buffet style but with also a chef on hand to cook for you. The food is just amazing. It's very difficult not to try everything. :
Enjoyed the set menu for €11 3 yummy, fresh courses with an extra salad on the side. Husband enjoyed a very tasty Angus burger would definitely recommend tasty food, friendly service, reasonable price.
My husband is a member of a Freemasons Lodge and their annual Ladies festival is held here and we have attended for the past three years. There are usually 100+ diners and this year, yet again, it was a big let down. Starters and salad were fine, but the main meals were brought out in such a fashion that some had to start eating otherwise their food would have been stone cold (rather than simply cold) by the time all plates were down. My husband had pork which was so tough it could have been used as shoe leather, served with greasy sliced cold potato. I had salmon which was tasty, but cold. For whatever reason I didn 't get any vegetables other than a mushroom cut into three pieces, no potato (wasn 't missing much). One poor lady finally got her chicken when the rest of the table had all finished. She said the whole dish was too salty and refused to eat it. The chap next to me had chicken, but the consistency of it was a little strange, it looked 'processed '. Most guests make a night of it and book to stay over and enjoy the entertainment, so it looks like it 's booked again for next year. I think I 'll pass.
