8mileπ Detroit Style Pizza

Wolverine Salad was delicious. The spicy ranch has a kick to it, chicken tasted fresh. Pepperoni Pie was approved by my picky teenager. Great sauce not too sweet like chains. ,

Was SO excited for a Detroit Style Pizza place opening near us. Unfortunately, the pizza was not only disappointing but it is NOT Detroit Style. Detroit Style is supposed to be crisp, with high sides due to the rectangular steel pan. The whole thing was super meager especially the toppings which were so stingy compared to our Detroit favorites such as Buddy's. To add further insult, it arrived cold despite the fact that we live less than two miles away. Will not order from here again.

Absolute trash. As a Detroit native, I've experienced Detroit style pizza from the restaurants referenced on 8mileπ website. In no way, shape or form should they be comparing themselves to places like Buddy's. Our pepperoni pizza (12x17) had a sprinkling of pepperoni, a tiny amount of sauce dribbled on the cheese but none at all under the cheese, and hardly any caramelized cheese on the edges. It was dry. It was sad. It was barely pizza, let alone Detroit style.

Very generous portions, tons of toppings. Delicious pizza.

The Fun Guy was totally amazing. We loved it. Best pizza we 've had since moving to bay area. Lived in NYC, Portland, Dallas and Portland before this. Wow!
