Jasmine Market - San Rafael

A go to place for specialty foods. Wanted Persian or Turkish sour cherry mix. They were out and only had California mix. Not as good.

Great little market. I always get their dates. Located with the produce on the back in the cold section. Also the peanut butter chips. They carry halva, spices, cookies,candies, and teas. Lots of interesting foods and always a fun adventure I'm there.

Stay away from this market. We made a $35 purchase, and it contains olive paste for $7. We opened the jar for Sunday morning breakfast. It has mold in it. Two days later I went in just to return the $7 olive paste. The black-bearded person, checked theexpiry date before . It's none of my business, I bought it 2 days ago. When he said this, he said why couldn't you take aphoto. He does not trust me. I've driven 20 miles just to return the $7 jar for $35 shopping. Just so that someone else shouldbe careful when buying that product. Look at his behavior towards me. Even 1 star is too much. Stay away.

Every time I come, I find everything that I need to make delicious Persian food. The store has a great selection of items and it is just the right size. The owner is always very, very friendly and helpful.

One of the best persian store in US. Owner is super friendly, fresh amazing Persian food such as Ash-Reshte, Dolma, Koofte and more. My favorite place for sure.
