Julies Hummus - San Rafael

This is the best place to enjoy Mediterranean food in the area. They offer beer and wine, but no cocktails. The food is absolutely delicious, and the skewers are fantastic. The Chicken Shawarma is exceptional. However, the rice could be improved, as it was cold and not very fresh. The banana pepper with pita and meat makes for the perfect combination.

Julie wasn't there because she had a baby. Our food took 20 minutes to arrive in the late afternoon, but it was worth the wait. I've never seen Mediterranean food presented so beautifully, and there was plenty of it. Our chicken shawarma and grilled chicken plates were overflowing with food. We could only manage to eat half of each, so we saved the rest for dinner. The salad was fresh, and the hummus was wonderfully creamy. One plate had large chunks of chicken, while the other was filled with smaller pieces, both served over fragrant yellow rice (was it saffron?). Everything was delicious!

The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the mixed grill plate and the beef and veal cabbage wrap with fries, and both dishes were outstanding. Everything on the plate was tasty, but the lamb was especially exceptional. We will definitely be returning!

My family and I were looking for a new place to eat and came across this delicious restaurant on Google and gave him an attempt to customer service is great and the food is delicious my husband stepped out of his comfort zone and tried two different entrees and gave them both 5 stars. So happy with all the different records we ate

I’ve been going to Julies for a long time now, and I have never been disappointed. It’s family owned operated, and they’re very friendly folks. I love that the food is prepared and served in front, and the food is consistently the best Mediterranean food in town in my opinion. I honestly hated hummus until tried julies garlic hummus, now I’m there on a weekly basis.
