Food was fine but the server overcharged us c10,000 by distracting me while paying by card. I should have noticed but was tired from traveling. Make sure you double-check the bill and receipt before leaving. I won’t go back.

Great place for a date or night life. Food was excellent. A little loud for us old folks but we’ll worth a visit. We’ll be back again

We visited this bar on a Saturday night with a DJ, so it was quite loud (not possible to have a conversation) but the grilled fish was amazing! Very convenient to our hotel, Holiday Inn Aurola

It's just a really fun place. Great music, great drinks and great service.....big enough to feel it's a party and small enough to really enjoy.

We are so very pleased that we found El Social when visiting San Jose, it was so good we returned! The cocktails are amazing (try the Tamarindo), Roman and Franscetta are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We enjoyed the best meals here and didn 't want to leave. This became our 'go to ' bar in San Jose and we would love to visit again when next in Costa Rica. Excellent value and a really cool and friendly place to enjoy!
