L' Incontro - San Rafael Abajo

Eating was amazing. original Italian kitchen that is difficult to find in costa rica. the pasta was perfect with a mix of aromene that are unique for the Italian culture. we have ourbtime enjoy every bite because of the height of the excellent they could taste. that has always turned into my favorite restaurant.

Grossly overpriced, average food (at best) and insulting, misogynist toilets. NEVER again.

This restaurant is extremely cozy and ideal for couples. It is spotless and the staff are incredibly attentive. The portion sizes are just right. The main dishes are delicious and made with high-quality ingredients, resulting in delightful flavors. However, the desserts could be improved. I definitely plan on returning and highly recommend this beautiful establishment for a date night with your partner, a meal with family, or a gathering with friends.

The salad was disappointing, as it was soggy, small, and tasteless, likely because it had been sitting out for a while. The lasagna was decent, but not exceptional. The bread was stale, overly crispy, and lacked flavor. Despite wanting to give the restaurant a chance and being hopeful for a good meal, the diners did not feel it was worth the price and would not recommend it. It is suggested that they try another dining establishment instead.

Jonathan is hands down the best server we have had in Costa Rica in the last 6 years. He provided service like a 5-star captain and the dining experience was also incredible. This restaurant is a hidden gem and highly recommended!
