Med Cuisine Restaurant Bar - San Xavier

Mediterranean is my favorite cuisine and this is the best in Tucson! We always order takeout and have now dined in twice. The chicken shawarma is amazing! I tried their Turkish coffee and it was delicious. We will absolutely go back and I highly recommend it if you enjoy Mediterranean style food.

I come to med cuisine about once every two weeks. I'm Saudi and finding decent Arabic food in Arizona let alone tucson is a challenge... thank god for med cuisine lol this def fulfills any cravings I have and the owner staff is always the most kind and hospitable and always remembers me.Food is really fresh and portions are very generous. I recommend the veggie meza the chicken shawarma, or the beef kabab, always get the hummus roasted veggies baklava it's a must. Only complaint is I wish they had kenefeh ! Lol

The food was great and had enough leftovers for another dinner the following night. Each meal was about $15. Quick service and the owner and her son were very pleasant and attentive. The restaurant has a full bar and an outdoor sitting area but this being Tucson, no one was outside even on Saturday night. If this restaurant was in the Midwest like NY or Chicago, it would have been very busy. For someone who has been to many Michelin-starred restaurants, I think this is a good restaurant that probably not many people in this town know about. Overall this was a good experience and we will definitely return. If you enjoy Mediterranean (Lebanese or Greek) cuisine, give this restaurant a try. You will not regret it!

The best falafel I have ever tasted. Mmmmm... there's a little hole in the middle like a donut, so it stays crispy on the outside and fresh on the inside. I also attended an event catered by this place and everything was so delicious. I can't imagine a better place to cater your event, there is something for everyone, carnivore, gluten-free, and vegan.

Some of the best lamb or chicken swarma I have had! Owners are VERY happy to explain menu items and any other questions a person might have. Prices very reasonable.
