Thirsty's Neighborhood Grill

My friend recommended this place last week and I’ve been in twice… she said it was kind of a divey bar but the hatch chile burger was damn good. I wanted the patty melt and I gotta say it was just as good the second time… service is quick and friendly and well I’ve always loved a dive bar.. I’m not sure what it is… but honestly the beef is some of the best I have had for a burger…. Yum!!!!!…. Oh and those waffle fries…. Yippee!

My husband and I went in on a Friday night to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had been talking about getting Cheesesteak sandwiches for a couple of days. I had gotten a thing from Yelp telling me about them and 1 of the reviews said they were good. Good is the wrong thing to say- they are freaking AWESOME. Oh my goodness. They are soooo good. We went about 6:30-7:00 pm and they were pretty busy. This tells me that we are the last to hear about this gem ?. The people were really nice too.

Great food and cheap beer! Always a great time here.

I haven't eaten here, but the vibe is cool. It's old school, and I noticed that there's no reverb in this basement-type setting. The service is kinda cold—maybe it's just me.

I've eaten here a dozen times. The male staff at the bar seem slightly racist. I've never felt welcomed and no longer patronize this place.
