Can't say much about the atmosphere because we did curbside pickup
I ordered the Caprese Panini with Irish Potato Soup and the American Potato Salad. The Potato salad was fresh, and an appropriate blend of moist ingredients, the Potato cooked to perfection, with the addition of celery onion that provided a nicely contrasted crunch.HIGHLY RECOMMENDThe Irish Potato Soup, I added cheddar cheese in case it was bland. The cheese is utterly unnecessary. The soup had a rich, creaminess that was complimented by the perfectly cooked pieces of Potato.I will be ordering this again. The Caprese Panini was a delight. The mozzarella was fresh, a nice thickness, that was neither too thin, nor too thick. Accented by the pesto aioli, and fresh Roma Tomato slices, with just enough fresh spinach to provide a textural balance with the softness of the herb panini bread that, surprisingly, was not over pressed. This is likely the best caprese sandwich I've eaten in my many decades of eating them.Overall, I cannot give this combo, or Jason's Deli enough stars, nor do it justice with mere words.Try them. You won't be disappointed.
The food here is overpriced, in my opinion. As a vegan, salads are like the most basic thing to eat at any restaurant and a 14$ salad.... ummm, no! The limitation on dressing doesn't make the salad anymore enticing. The staff wetter a bit confusing with the modifications being made to the salad, and in the end, we just restated the order. The food was ok. Nothing to brag or boast about, as I stated, just a salad with a ton of crunchy stuff thrown in. It was ok, but I do believe this will be my last 14$ salad run!
Delicious food with fast and great service. I'm adding Jason's to my regular dining places.
