Lucky Cup Coffee Shop - Sandbridge

The service is always quick, the coffee is always delicious, and the atmosphere is always welcoming! We've been to Lucky Cup on multiple occasions and have always enjoyed our experiences. I've tried a variety of the lattes and my partner swears by the iced americano.

I'm a big fan of this place. It's easy to get to, has plenty of parking since it's in a strip mall, and has a cozy, cute vibe. Depending on when you come in, there might only be one barista, which means you shouldn't come here if you're in a hurry, but the staff are super nice and make delicious drinks. I've had their hot drinks, which you have to ask for extra hot, but their cold drinks are just perfect. I recently got an iced latte with salted caramel, which tastes exactly like a Starbucks caramel macchiato for much less $4 vs $6 for a 16 oz). They also have crumb cakes and other pastries for sale, and if they're a day old, they're sold for half off I got two for $3 total). There are places to work if you want to bring your laptop, or you can doordash if you don't feel like leaving your home. I'll definitely keep coming back!

I'm not from Virginia Beach but my dentist is located nearby, so I thought I'd stop here after I did some paperwork. It was a really weird and unnerving experience because the barista didn't say a single word to me the entire time. I walked in and ordered, which met no response. I had to look around for the machine to pay, and figure it out on my own. Less than 3 seconds after I finished paying my drink was wordlessly handed to me. And it really wasn't good : I got a large toffee iced coffee. Maybe I read the menu wrong but it didn't mention that I had to ask for my own milk or sugar so it was just black, and it tasted old like it was made the day before. I had to put my own cream and sugar in it and I ended up making a mess since there wasn't really room in the cup. Plus, there were no napkins in site so I couldn't even clean it up. I'm going to another coffee place next time I'm in town.
