Sandgate Post Office

What a wonderful place! Gluten-free and safe for those with celiac disease! I was able to enjoy a gluten-free pizza here, not many restaurants take the necessary precautions but this place does, they are amazing! I have been here multiple times and they never fail to impress.

The restaurant serves amazing food with a wide variety of beers to choose from. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I definitely plan on returning. Also, it's conveniently located near the train station.

Honestly, I don't usually leave feedback, but we had dinner at this local restaurant and wanted to show our support. We were surprised that a restaurant of this size didn't have tap water available, the market fish didn't have any alternative options, they had run out of seasonal vegetables, and it took a long time for someone to bring us the bill. I had to go find someone to help us. I think this may happen more often because the reception area is behind a partition wall with no visibility, making it difficult for staff to see when customers arrive for their bookings. They also have to wait for customers to finish their meals and settle their bills before seating new guests. I won't leave a negative review online, but I wanted to mention a few things that could be improved. I wish them success and would dine there again.

Eating was good, steaks on point. sandcrab lasagne sauce was good, but texture felt as if the crab came from a dose. it was busy, which is understandable, but very loud, hard to hear someone at our table. next time, it would try to eat outside.

The first time in the new post office hotel. it looks great. the dining room has a beautiful atmosphere. service was friendly and quite fast. Meals were just fine. prawn salatreis was boiled, cooked over, filled aubergines were bland and tomato, lamb and steak dishes were better.
