Got a piece of pie to go, and they only take cash, so be aware before you decide to eat here. The lady at the counter wasn't super friendly either; although she was professional, I felt like I was inconveniencing her by being there. The pie was really good though.
Great little place to stop and get food. Hidden little gem in Sandpoint. Took a bit of time to get our food, the chicken pot pie was great! Sandwiches are half and full. And don’t get me on the huckleberry pie, it was the best pie ever made! Even the old top 1 (Kalispell) couldn’t beat this! I world suggest this highly for visitors getting a bite. The customer service is awesome! They always checked up on us. The atmosphere is good for us, home like style. Overall, we would always go back here! Parking: Across Church Street there is a parking lot Don’t park there. It is private parking. On the west side there is a gravel lot, which can sometimes fill up. For street parking. It is up to four hours but very limited to find. South (Antique) lot it is gravel and includes spots to park at. Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair accessibility includes spaced out seats to an asphalt ramp up to the sidewalk entry. The ramp is on the right side of the building, where the Pie Hut is in the antique building area.
OMG this place is bomb, bussin, off the chain? Aka SO GOOD! The “Heather special” and clam chowder was SOOO GOOD! Pies are up there on the ranking too? They only take cash but VERY IMPRESSED with this little hole in the wall?
Best pie in town! I had the crème brûlée and it was absolutely delightful, full of flavor and totally amazing. Bacon sandwich there always hits the spot.
A bit snooty and overpriced. Only take cash. Deserts are super sweet. Limited seating and often crowded.
