We visited early, around 8 AM, and received speedy service. The prices are reasonable, with a 4-egg veggie omelet costing around $8 and a generous side of perfectly cooked bacon for $4. The coffee was decent and kept coming with frequent refills. The hash browns are an optional add-on, which is perfect for those of us who follow a low-carb diet. Overall, a great place for comforting breakfast food!
We seated ourselves as indicated by the sign, but the waitress initially overlooked us. However, when another group arrived, she quickly recognized us and ensured that she took our order first, apologizing for the oversight. The food was fantastic—especially the bacon, which was seriously thick and cooked to perfection. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.
The coffee was quite poor, and I found a hair in the ketchup. I asked for both to be replaced, but ended up finding my own ketchup. Unfortunately, the replacement coffee wasn't any better. The service was also slow. It feels like the quality has declined since the new owners took over. Food rating: 3/5.
This little piece of Americana was a great stop for my family. They were kid friendly, welcoming, and kept our drinks full. The only problem I had was we didn't have time for pie!Food: 5/5
