My experience with Sweet Potato Catering was subpar. The caterer was quick to respond to communications was friendly. She worked in our budget by removing an agreed upon item, and that was appreciated. However, we didn 't receive the exact menu that we expected nor agreed upon. We hosted a luau-themed event. We were supposed to have fruit skewers instead got fruit salad. We were supposed to have rice with pineapple instead got rice with pineapple juice in it...no pineapples. We were also supposed to have individual mini pineapple upside down cakes, instead we got something more muffin-like. We included a 15% gratuity prior to the event. I should have waited on including that. We simply didn 't get what was bargained for nor paid for. In order to right the wrong, we were offered a small credit to use toward future services with them or to attend one of their mixer events. We live in a different state, so neither of those options were feasible we 're really not interested in using their services again. In summary...nice people...just not the best caterers.

Sweet Potato Catering catered my father’s celebration of life this weekend and everyone in the family is still raving about the food. From delivery and set up, to presentation, Katie is the best. This is actually the second time I have used her and I will do so again and again. Her green goddess salad dressing is amazing and my husband claimed her honey mustard BBQ sauce to be the best he has ever tasted.

My husband and I have hired Sweet Potato Catering for large events and intimate family gatherings. Katie and her team go above and beyond to ensure our needs and requests are met. The food is absolutely delicious and our guests always rave about the quality and presentation. We highly recommend Sweet Potato Catering regardless of the size of your event.

We hired Sweet Potato Catering for our wedding and have nothing but great things to say! We wanted something different than standard wedding food, so we did a taco bar and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious and our guests still rave about it months later! Katie presented the food in such a beautiful way as well, which was just a cherry on top. It tasted great and looked great! Highly recommend!!
