King's Lounge - Sandwell

We had a civil wedding reception party for 50 guests. The venue went above and beyond to cater for us. The food was delicious and served with love and care. We had a vegetarian menu which was delicious. The set up and flower wall was great and we got lots of beautiful photos. I understand that there's new owners and must say we were very well looked after. I would recommend the venue for small parties. We loved the food so much that we got them to cater for 130 guests for a party at home a week later. They were very reasonable and even gave us the waiters to serve us at home. Brilliant food.

We just left this restaurant. Drinks were offered and served. eventually we ordered food. After an hour, second orders for drinks were offered and eventually delivered. 1 hour after arriving we were told our food was in the works, After 2 hours we still had not received any food so we departed.

Staff very slow to take orders, asked for no fish on mixed grill as family has allergies at point of order staff member noted when order came to table fish all over the top. Cutlery Dirty hubby was cleaning with tissue as when he told staff member he laughed it off saying water marks. Food not up to standard lamb chops could not even cut and kebabs were not cooked properly chicken wings and other chicken pieces ok. We ordered chicken nuggets and chips for my niece they were both very over cooked. After starters we would have had mains but good quality very shocking especially for a first visit to restaurant and were looking to book for my sons 18th birthday. Price over priced for what we actually had would have been better off going to our usual mixed grill place. Have used this place before when it was kings lounge and there was never a bad word to say about it. Definitely would not go again.

Night out with friends, Great service and excellent food , the staff couldn’t have been more attentive

We ordered a Veggie Soya Mix Grill, Lamb Curry, Tarka Dhal, Pilau Rice and Naan. It was all absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend Kings Grill food. The complimentary milk shakes were lovely too
