El Barril Breakfast Lunch - Sandy

Had 3 different breakfast plates for myself, wife and son. Food was good with two complaints. Portion size was small on some plates and the melon in the mixed fruit was cut with so much green rind it was almost inedible. My chief complaint is overall price. 3 plates and 3 water is over $50 before tip. No fountain drinks and a can of soda is almost $3. Dont even think about the orange juice! Service was good, place was clean and neat. I really want to like this place and consider supporting small businesses as a personal mandate but the food was just ok and value equation presented here does not work for me. I wont be back. A small place with friendly staff and great food. Ideal party size is 4 and make sure you get here early for a table. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and patience.
