Sandy Bay Wood Fired Pizza

My partner and I chose to order a pizza from this place and enjoy it on the beach. Despite some hesitation due to mixed reviews, we found the pizza to be absolutely delicious! We will definitely come back during the warmer months.

We were looking for something to eat on our last night in Tasmania and stumbled upon this restaurant near our accommodation. Unfortunately, the pizza we ordered had a thin, cardboard-like crust topped with processed polenta that seemed to come from a tin. The cheese was not of high quality and had little flavor. The overall taste was not fresh. Furthermore, the prices were double what we usually pay for pizza, and we finished our meal in just a few minutes.

This restaurant is consistently bustling, a positive indicator of its popularity. The pizzas are delicious and served quickly. One downside is that they only accept cash, which may be inconvenient for those who rely solely on credit cards. Overall, I highly recommend this pizza café.

Doesn't look great from the outside at a dark windy night, just simple seats inside. But pizzas were excellent and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend it very much.

Found this place tucked away in Sandy Bay on a very cold Friday night, what a treat, wonderful good value pizza, friendly and fast service. Highly recommended
