Sunken Chip - SANDY BEACH

Great food, great coffee, wonderful atmosphere. Had the classic burger but I want to try them all, three thumbs up ???? Bit of a drive from home but will be back

I stopped in to grab a smoothie as we were staying not too far up the road. Surprisingly it wasn't as busy this time round, so I ordered some chips and a chicken burger for lunch. Both were AMAZING! The chips were well salted an perfectly cooked, the chicken burger was on a super soft bun with salad an delicious aioli. We went back on Tuesday as I wanted to show my partner what all the fuss was about. UNFORTUNATELY they had stopped cooking at 2. Hopefully next time we're around I get to show him.

We stopped over on a long drive and were glad we did. A bit off the beaten path but a great little burger shop facing a secluded beach. Burgers were old-fashioned with loads of salad and fresh ingredients, home made patties and good chips as well. Well worth the detour to eat here and avoid the many touristy, commercial places on this stretch.

My wife and I went here for lunch on a Sunday as we had not been to Sandy Beach for many years even though we live not far away and were glad we did. We had Fish and Chips with a couple of extras and found everything well cooked, tasty and to our liking. The girls who served us were friendly and enjoying the piped music as we did even though it was a bit loud for us old folk but no worries. We sat outside on the deck in the sun enjoying the food, with a glass of wine (we brought a bottle) while looking at the reserve and beachfront opposite.We are definitly coming back with the family and our grandkids who will be happy to enjoy the playground in the park, followed by a good walk up the beach to work off the calories.Also , plenty of car parking and very quiet friendly area with no problems.

We were there for their breakfast, ordered the Brekky Wrap n Bacon n Eggs. It was delicious :) Nice ambience and friendly staff, worth a visit...
