Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Sanford

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST oder that I have ever received. I ordered a three piece combo meal, which includes a drink. I upgraded the drink size to large but received NO drink at all. We also ordered the 6 piece ghost wings. They were out and the substituted wings were dry and cold. Not at all what was expected. SMH

One star is i overrate! The service I received here was terrible. Spent $70 all my sides were missing, chicken was horrible. It was like they refried the already fried chicken or needed to maybe change their grease. My chicken sandwiches were by far the worse I have had from any Popeys! I contacted the store the following day and spoke with the manager, who placed me on hold, returned to the phone to tell me she spoke to her GM, and they said it was nothing they could do! Horrible food! Horrible customer service. Money thrown away! We will never oblige this location again!

The spicy tenders, Cajun potatoes, and red beans and rice are fantastic. I just wish they had included the BBQ sauce I requested for both meals.

I was disappointed with my experience at Popeyes. They messed up my order, not only ignoring my special instructions but also failing to put it together correctly. When my order finally arrived, it was cold and dried out. The chicken tasted like it had been sitting around, almost as if it were leftovers from the day before. To make matters worse, they didn’t include the chicken sandwich or the fries I ordered. The only thing they got right was the biscuit, but that was as hard as a rock. Moving forward, I think I’ll stick with Chick-fil-A for my chicken needs.

I had never tried Popeyes before, so I decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised – it’s actually quite good! The chicken is really tasty, although I think the commercials set my expectations a bit high. I still prefer Bojangles, but Popeyes is definitely better than KFC. The popcorn shrimp was excellent, and the mac and cheese is pretty much standard across the board. However, the one area where Popeyes really stands out compared to Bojangles and KFC is their mashed potatoes and gravy. In my humble opinion, they are the best by far. The prices were great, and the delivery was quick too!
