My son took me here..my first time. I had the Hot wings...very good!
Was just in bar. Sat at high top bar table with wife next to servers station. I counted 6 plus servers there. We were never acknowledged, asked for a drink, given a menu or anything else. Place was maybe 1/5 full. After 10 minutes of sitting there we left. There are plenty of choices for a person to spend their money and we gave them a try. They utterly failed.
The Roost is hit and miss in all categories but overall is a decent place for food and adult beverages. Service has lacked lately and I'm not really sure of the cause. Maybe understaffed slightly during high volume times. With that being said, most of the wait staff are pleasant, friendly, and willing to make your experience enjoyable. I do enjoy the patio seating as there is ample shade, or sometimes I prefer some sunshine ?. The food is almost always wonderful ? Parking: During high volume times (noon six pm) parking may be difficult unless you're ok with parking behind the building and walking around.
It always feels like home there. Food, drinks and service are all quality.
