A selection of three nets, scallops with risotto or roast beef with onion red wine jus or gnocchi with pepper and mushroom with parmesan cheese. Follow a light fluffy chocolate mousse with popping... candy with white chocolate neck thin block and a round chocolate ball with raspberry on the inside. Good value.
...veggie burger once and a specialty cheese pasta the other... it is a beautiful location and cheap, the beer is great and the food is ok. On a sunny day there are some better places in St Anton to enjoy the afternoon...
On a popular day we found post cellars, which was the first restaurant to have space for our group of 14 people. On the ground floor of the 4-star hotel is the word to note is expensive. Yes, the prices are above average, but... not Michelin-like expensive. The environment you feel like a privileged citizen, the service itself is friendly, but unfortunately the waiters in a hurry seem to be all the time and you have to try to get them to notice you. Meals are decent and beautiful, but not as excellent as the atmosphere suggests you. You can easily pay separately, which is a bonus for large groups.
Only had drinks here as the food wasn't to our fancy on that day. They had a great array of drinks, some on the menu are unique and intriguing. Key feature is the outdoor seating area, which is quite large and is a terrace, so...it's nice being raised above the town. The service is great but you would hope so with the prices they are charging (not cheap).
During a week of skiing with the family in San Anton, some of the group visited an afternoon for a drink. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed a few bottles of Prosecco and a sandwich. The girl who served us was attentive, welcoming and... sorry to be obviously busy, she was happy to take a photo for us. It was a bit on the expensive side, but a nice spot. After we had such a nice experience, a few looked for somewhere for lunch the next day and decided that we would return. Unfortunately, the experience was completely different. It wasn't more business than the day before, but he waited the staff was different. We sat for 20 minutes on someone who serves us. Finally, we caught the attention of a waitress and asked if we can order. She pointed to her male colleagues and said he would take our order. We saw them talking to him and showing us, but unfortunately after another 10 minutes he had not dared near our table so that we were up and down. We slowly passed by him on the way out (if he could catch us and convince us to stay).... but that didn't happen! We have thought about going to the main hotel reception to complain to the manager as it was so bad, but sincerely we were so hungry until then we did not!. It was her loss when we were a party of over 20 and all recommended places to eat each other. At least some of us eat every day in San Anton they lost more than just our lunch business this day
