With a warm welcome from the staff, I let myself go to my table and had a few mints of time to let everything work on me. The atmosphere is delicately relaxed, the furnishing stylishly maritim and the view over the Pril is looking like it! An excellent amuse gueule, a glittery red bete burger, with a little matjes and a little horseradish cream, remotely based on a typical North German speciality the Labskaus cannot be more stylish! Since during the day I brought my mind to the small delicacies of the surroundings, this evening only remained at a main dish and that was not to be overwhelmed by sophistication. Visually, how tasteful!!! The seed fillet MÃ1⁄4llerin perfectly fried on the skin was completed with a ragout of grapefruit, oranges and tomato fillets. Small potato jugs framed the whole and the clou blue hornfish blossoms and small sun-yellow passion fruit pips made sure that the quite turbid ping storm quickly got into oblivion...not just a feast for the eyes! After forgetting a little time at the side table during nice entertainment, a wonderfully light dessert finished the successful meal: here a strawberry parfait with a mousse of green asparagus and matcha foam. Delicious! Enjoying with all the senses and the seven meter above everyday life, this is definitely possible here and highly recommended a praise to the cook! I don't want to miss the small walk back to the parking lot, he definitely gives you the opportunity to revue the magnificent day!
Were there to eat lunch, but there was nothing that would have happened to us on the fried menu. So it has not been as intoxicating to us as it is often praised.
From the previous years I remembered this cottage (like the others) as bad tourist traps with bad food at totally overpriced prices. When we were back in St. Peter in July this year, we were invited. Well said super surprise! Exciting ambience, modern veranda, great food selection, great wines and a very, very nice service which served competent and flott. Sure, the price level is already high, but the quality makes it absolutely up. Wiclich a recommendation to enjoy his wine in the late evening in the summer (in good weather) behind the glass of the veranda (all other of course also). We're coming back!
Who wants to eat well sometimes has to go far. The stylishly furnished Pfahlbaurestaurant is only within walking distance. So: parking the car in the parking lot and enjoy the walk towards the sea. In good weather, the large sun terrace is located. If it gets too fresh outside, you make it cozy inside. Unfortunately, the fireplace did not ring during our visit. But would have been superfluous in the hot late summer of 2016 anyway. We chose a vegetarian dish: Ravioli and buffalo mozzarella with lucky-town tomatoes, young spinach and pine nuts. Before we were pampered with bread, excellent olive oil and an amuse gueule. In short, I have rarely eaten such a refined and harmonious Ravioli creation. Fresh ingredients, perfectly flavored, visually and tastefully top the way has rewarded itself. There was even a homemade truffle to say goodbye. To melt down. And not because of the late summer heat!
The location is great and the services are excellent. I was there yesterday and I ate an ice cream that was excellent. Today I ate a steak from the Eidenstädter Landschwein with cauliflower and roast potatoes for lunch. It has super tasted but the meat had the size of a children's shackle, for which 18 € were just too expensive.
