Feedback gevenThought not altogether easy to find (thank goodness we had satnav) we showed up unannounced. The friendly patron met us in the car park and, though seemingly puzzled that we'd not booked, said he'd ask the chef if they could accommodate us strange, because when we were welcomed up to the outside vine fringed terrace there was only one other couple there! But then the fun started having mentioned that I don't eat meat, we were told what we could have then one by one a series of fresh sharing plates were brought out pickled aubergine, artichokes, zucchini souffles and more, all of which were outstanding. Then the pasta bowl arrived home made, stuffed, black olive pasta. My co diners finished with steak. All this was washed down by a young, fresh, wine made on the farm. The bill was E150, a little pricey in my book seeing as the kids only had a bowl of pasta, but I can't fault the quality or the service so maybe I'm being picky!
We love this nice relaxing place near Mediterranean Sea. The food was wonderful made with love! The hosting family are the best!!! Totally recommend this place if you are traveling in Italy!
It is a place to try if you wish to taste good local food. Not expensive at all, it is better to book to be sure to have a table. Outside the restaurant and small hotel there are places for kids to play and have fun. Suggestions: ravioli, torta verde. But you'll get all in the many courses tipical menu.
