Relais Oroscopo - SANSEPOLCRO

We usually try to avoid restaurants associated with hotels but after a long day walking the St. Francis Way, it seemed like this was the best option. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely excellent. I forgot to take notes as to what we had but did make a note that we both really enjoyed it. Absolutely delicious. We had pastas but the pizza looked pretty good too. We would highly recommend especially if staying in the hotel.

Best pizza we had on our trip to Italy and the best value! Lumi (the pizza maker) was very kind and accommodating...creating pizzas exactly to our tastes in his amazing pizza oven! Members of our party also had lovely pasta and salad. The wine was delicious and everything was so reasonably priced that we couldn’t stay away and visited FOUR times during our stay! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sansepulcro and the surrounding areas.

I came here two nights as part of a UK group of seven people, following a recommendation from a local Italian friend who is a chef. This was, simply, the best pizza I've ever had. The dough was freshly made and cooked in a beautiful fired oven (go inside and look at the decoration) and the toppings were fresh and flavoursome. What's more, it's cheap: one pizza costs around 7EUR, and is more than enough to feed one person. What sets this place aside, however, is the service: the pizza chef Lumi, and the lovely waitress with glasses whose name escapes me, were so friendly and welcoming (even to us British) and gave us very special service all night. We were the only foreign guests: the rest of the clientele was Italian, which told us everything. This is a warm, authentic restaurant. (P.S. If you like cats, there are two who frequent the restaurant).
