La Barra De Paco - Sant Joan d'Alacant

Had a nice coffee and tiramisu. Staff were welcoming and helpful despite me being on my own. Appreciated the airconditioning especially! Bathroom was clean. Just around five to ten minutes walk from the beach.

We were staying across the street and oftened wondered why it was always so busy, both during lunch time and in the evening. A really small joint but always crowded while other restaurants surrounding it were half empty. OK, it’s a small joint but when we went there we met the most fun and helpful waiter ever. The Tapas they offer has a serious X-factor. Personally I am not for seafood but the clams, fish and shrimps totally won me over. The food simply caressed my taste buds and it was obvious why the locals crowded this place. I’ve since been there 3 times in as many days. I’m hooked!

Menú del dia, domingo. Gazpacho manchego, típico y sabroso. Merluza a la romana, gruesa y jugosa. Servicio muy simpático.

Menú del día bastante bueno, bien de precio y muy buen servicio.
