It consists of pickled tea leaves on greens with an assortment of toasted nuts and seeds. While it was tasty and crunchy, it lacked a certain zing that I have experienced in other tea leaf salads. The Shan Noodle Stir Fry with Tofu ($11) was our favorite dish of the night, reminiscent of pad thai. The Vegetable Curry Deluxe ($10) was a fragrant curry dish that we enjoyed with paratha and steamed rice. Overall, we were pleased with the offerings at Burma Bistro and appreciate their introduction to Burmese cuisine. It is recommended to order brown rice or a base at home to save on carbs.
The menu at this restaurant offers many options clearly marked for easy ordering.
There are vegan options on the menu, and the staff is well-informed about vegan ingredients.
Valentine’s Day, but VERY noisy! Yea Leaf salad was good, but not great. Veggie curry was bland. Disappointed, overall.
I have tried to eat here for months and they are always super busy and full but after eating here I see why, well worth the wait, had an amazing overall experience, small place but great atmosphere, friendly, prompt service, the food was awesome I had the Shrimp Curry and my sister had the Lamb Kebat both dishes were full of flavor made with really fresh ingredients, portions were generous and reasonably priced, we also had the Fried Bananas for desert and we were not disappointed Burma Bistro now a favorite place to dine in Santa Clara, a must try, can't wait until the next time!!
