Yes, one hard shelled taco is $4.25 but everything else has gone up in price after the pandemic so I’m not surprised. The flavor of the rice is on point which is so important for me. There is salsas and enchiladas are also very tasty. My only complaint was the Horchata was water down and I’m not sure if it’s made in the house, didn’t taste like it. I will be recommending this place to all my friends. I’m so glad I stumbled upon it by accident. I hope they stick around for a long time.
I was about 12 years old when I first ate their tacos. I am so happy how big they have grown and the food still taste good. I moved from Santa ana when I was 14 and since then I drive from Moreno Valley just to eat..Best tacos ever
A family owned authentic Mexican restaurant. Dine-in or take-out. Known for their menudo. My preference and signature dish are 2 shredded beef enchiladas with rice and refried pinto beans. A balance of non spicy red sauce and mild cheddar cheese may make you feel like you found the perfect combination.
I was treated to lunch here by my boss, so I'm unsure about the exact cost of my meal. He ordered the lengua dish, which came with beans, rice, and tortillas, along with a large horchata, while I opted for the big menudo accompanied by corn tortillas and a Diet Coke. Our total came to just over $20, meaning it was roughly $10 per person. The tortillas were impressive—thick and substantial, unlike the flimsy ones you often find at other places. We were presented with several bottles of different salsas, along with a thick, gooey chili sauce in a bowl; a little of that went a long way. While the menudo was filling, I found it lacking in flavor and wished it had a bit more spice. I relied on the salsas and sauces for added zest. The tripe was somewhat irregular in size, with many pieces larger than bite-size, requiring a bit of effort to chew. Overall, I’d give it a thumbs up, but I wouldn’t go so far as to call it an outstanding taqueria.
Best in Santa Ana, OC! Taco's Los Grandes is absolutely the best—no question about it! The food is excellent and spot on. The owners really know how to do it right. The tacos are incredibly tasty, with options like beef, chicken, pork, and cheese. The burritos and enchiladas are so good that if this place were in the Bellagio Hotel, it would earn five stars. It's worth the trip—bring $5 to $7 and you're set. You won't find better tacos and burritos than at this spot in Santa Ana, CA!
