The Tea House - Santa Ana

Found this place as we were driving thru Santa Fe on our way back to Austin Tx. We had our 60 pound labradoodle with us and this place actually encourages dogs! Our server was super nice as well as other staff and the food and tea was so delicious! I had the bacon pear and brie panini. Mmmmmm. My kids had the mac and cheese which was super yummy too. Really an awesome dog friendly brunch/lunch place. Can't wait to go back!!

We don't have a lot of experience with restaurants in Santa Fe, but this place was recommended by the owner of the place we were staying so we gave it a try. I had Tuscan beef stew and my husband had the meatloaf. Both were outstanding similar to meals we have had in Italy. We returned a couple of times over the weekend to take advantage of their coffee and tea offerings. Charming atmosphere, very friendly wait staff and amazing food.

Richard is amazing with his knowledge of teas and his culinary expertise shines through every dish whether it 's breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is nothing on the menu that I haven 't recommended, the only hard part is to not want to order everything all at once just to to get the unique taste of each dish! Did I mention my favorite tea is the 'Freak Of Nature ' this unique tea only grows in one region, under specific circumstances and it 's like drinking butta!

Our party of 6 loved The Teahouse for dinner. The server did a great job helping everyone select a tea that they would enjoy. We all ordered entrees and a few starters that were delicious. You can tell the that ingredients are fresh and the portions are appropriate. Prices are reasonable, and the quality of food, combined with the ambience, was much butter than some of the 'fine dining ' restaurants we tried in downtown Santa Fe. Overall, a great way to end our vacation.

Good food, good service, knowledgeable staff and friendly service. Highly recommend to anyone.
