Breakwater - Santa Barbara

Service was really fast and friendly. It was getting late and it was a cloudy/foggy day so there was very few people there. They let us order off the lunch menu too since it wasn’t at all busy. The fish and chips was good and so was the fried shrimp basket.

Great spot right on the harbor with views of the ocean and the boats parked. We have been coming to Breakwater for years and it never disappoints.The fish and clam chowder are musts here, though we really come for the atmosphere — the views and opportunity to sit outside are the best qualities of Breakwater. The food is secondary.

I've lived in Santa Barbara my whole life, and I'd never been to this place until last night. Service was superb, as was the food. Everything was just right, including the bill. Definitely recommend!!Food: 5/5

I guess this place is still too new. Heavy remodeling going on inside the restaurant it's only outside dining. Servers and service slow and disorganized time became tight so only time for a cocktail barely drinks are fancy but very weak except for the price. I guess I'll have to try again in a few months of this place still exists.

We had breakfast here yesterday, and both the food and service were great. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but food costs are soaring right now. I'm not sure why some people feel the need to criticize restaurants for increasing their prices. After all, how else would they be able to stay in business? Food: 5/5
