Bottom Line: I would go to China Pavilion if there are no better Chinese restaurant alternatives in the area (will have to research). Ordered: 2x pot stickers (steamed and fried), 2x 3 flavor sizzling rice soup, orange chicken, yang chow fried rice, vegetable chow mein, beef broccoli, beef asparagus, steam rice. The soup came with snow peas, but they do not have Beef w/snow peas? Need to improve: larger portions (serving portions, and in the case of the pot stickers actual food size), customer focus (waiting staff focused on new tables), customer focus (install roxul so the noise does not bounce off the walls) Positives: We were seated on time (reservation for 8). China Pavillion can accommodate large parties. Paid public parking adjacent to location. The food tasted good (who would think orange chicken with dried hot peppers tastes so good), hot, what we ordered was served, served in a decent time.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and it's a great dining spot. The chicken egg rolls are delicious, and the hot mustard definitely packs a spicy punch!
This restaurant has been a beloved choice for families for more than three decades!
While in town for a concert at The Arlington Theater, we found this nearby restaurant that takes reservations. We decided to give it a shot and were not disappointed. We ordered the sizzling rice soup with large pieces of chicken and shrimp, the flavorful Kung Pao chicken (not breaded), and the decent sweet and sour chicken. We had to pay an extra $2 for white meat chicken, which was unexpected in this day and age. The prices were fair for the area, and the service was friendly and prompt. We would definitely come back again.
