Dave's Dogs Grill - Santa Barbara

Was looking for something unique and stumbled across this place. I got the Mac and cheese dog with a veggie hot dog and no bacon, with a side of cheese fries. I was not disappointed. The food was fresh hot and delicious. I will be returning as soon as possible.

It just takes a while to get your food. I want to order before arriving but they want a credit card over the phone. I am a little iffy about dishing my card via phone. Since I can't preorder and I have to wait 15 min just for takeout and for that I knock off a star. Other than that, good food.

I go here regularly. High time I left them a nice review. They are super friendly here and the hot dogs are super tasty. I usually get the Santa Barbara dog. Delicious! Last time I was here I got the mac and cheese which was also excellent. These guys are over in the turnpike shopping center across the way from lighthouse coffee. Great hot dogs, you can't go wrong with any of their menu items.

DO NOT ORDER THE CHILI CHEESE FRIES. WAY OVERPRICED AND PRECIOUS LITTLE CHILI. They charge more for that dish than for either a burger or a dog, and it sucks.
