Le Cafe Stella - Santa Barbara

On our trip down the Pacific Coast Highway we picked this restaurant for something different. The chicken cordon blue was amazing and very large portions. My son had the duck burger with fries. He really enjoyed his meal. Highly recommend this Cafe.

This was my first French dining experience and I really enjoyed the mix of casual dining and upscale dish offerings. There's a unique mix of spices and flavors of the sauces that give each dish a new flair. The staff was very engaged and friendly. Dining groups were nicely spaced out. I LOVED the cherry pie a la mode. I have never had better cherry pie in my life! Not cheap, but worth a try.

Le Cafe Stella is beyond lovely. The food is exquisite. I highly recommend the escargot, french onion soup, niçoise salad, and the veggie burger. Although, i’m sure anything you order will be impeccable. We ordered multiple things to share between the two of us, and the server knowingly divided everything into two portions without us even asking. It was such a kind gesture. The staff was so hospitable and welcoming. We were from out of town and they gave us lots of suggestions and genuinely wanted to know more about our travels. We also met the kindest couple who seem to be regulars at this restaurant. We talked for almost an hour. If you see them- tell them we say hi! The prices are so reasonable- they should be charging you more! We are currently debating driving HOURS just to go back to Le Cafe Stella. If you have the chance and are in the area you should capitalize upon the opportunity in front of you.

Le Cafe Stella is one of my favorites in Santa Barbara. The food is delicious my favorite onion soup and fries. Ulises our attendant was very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back.
