Sakana Sushi Japanese - Santa Barbara

Awesome atmosphere and service. Some of the rolls were fantastic super fresh with fun sauces. A couple others were just so so not quite enough flavor. It was my husband’s birthday, so he got a free bowl of ice cream. The red bean ice cream was SO good! Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Sat at the bar. Our sushi chef has been there 17 years! Absolutely fantastic food and service. If you love fresh Japanese food this place will become your favorite. Best I’ve had in Santa Barbara area.

Our favorite Sushi and the last two times it was bad. All the same taste and all brown. What happened to our favorite Sushi? Too sad but we will not go again.

We ordered over the phone, the girl repeated our order back wrong over and over. When we got there to pick up, we doubled checked the order, she reassured us it was correct, got home and it was wrong. Very poor knowledge and service

Good, creative and fresh sushi. Service was a bit slow and our server was a bit inattentive. That being said food and creativity are very much a return visit!
