I ordered the lobster roll, my very first, and it was absolutely delightful—sweet, buttery, and generously filled with lobster. For sides, I had coleslaw and onion rings, and the coleslaw was excellent. My wife chose the clam chowder in a bread bowl, which she also enjoyed; the creamy soup paired wonderfully with the bread. We also tried the fried oysters, which pleasantly surprised me. I typically don’t enjoy fried oysters, but these were fresh and tasty. In total, our bill came to around $75 before tip, and it was definitely worth it. The view at the end of the day was truly priceless.
If you're visiting the Santa Bárbara pier, this is the best spot for seafood. Make sure to arrive early because it fills up quickly. I tried sea urchin for the first time here, and it was surprisingly delicious—not what I expected, as it just melts in your mouth. The standout feature of this restaurant is the fantastic staff, and the seafood is incredibly fresh. Everything I tried was excellent, and I’m not usually a big seafood fan. If you're in Santa Bárbara, this place is a must-visit!
I absolutely loved this place! The line for outdoor ordering moves a bit slowly, but once you place your order, the food arrives quickly. The crab cake, scallop ceviche, calamari sandwich, onion rings, and oysters were all delicious. A glass of white wine complemented the meal perfectly. I would recommend skipping the French fries, though.
Ordered a small cup of Clam Chowder. After finishing it, I realized I should have stepped up to the larger cup even though I had a big breakfast. It has a very good consistency and lots of firm clam bits inside. The taste is a bit fishy but that is not a complaint. Uni platters also seemed to be a very popular menu item that they were sold out not long after I had taken my order down. Beware of limited sitting areas so best to have something you can hold firmly onto to consume or have members of your group be on the lookout for a bench to sit. And of course, watch out for all the birds.
Went here with the travel group after getting off the Trolley. It was also my sis birthday and she wanted seafood. I had the coconut shrimp topped with huge onion rings and coleslaw. Iced tea lemonade was the best. My sister got a mix with oysters, shrimp, and onion rings. Also the garlic bread was the best I ever had. Thank you to the couple who sat next to me and let me ask ask questions and take a pic of what thru ordered. 5 stars for the food. 5 stars for the waiter Sean also.
